Hello! I’m Arun

I am a creative storyteller and product builder interested in all things consumer, healthcare, AI/ML, and venture.

My superpowers:asking the right questions, obsessing over customers, and spearheading new projects.

I’m an AI builder at Qualified Health and the founder of Product Haven. Before this I drove product at 3 early stage startups and a healthtech accelerator, and started a public health nonprofit.

At Qualified Health I work forward deployed. That means I sit with clinicians, data teams, engineers, and health system leaders, scope the problem with them, and stay on it until the system is tested and running in production.

Along the way I’ve worked on consumer robotics at Matic, healthcare data at Datavant, and founder infrastructure at Health Engine. I studied Data Science and Business at UC Berkeley and Haas. Product Haven has since grown to more than 7,000 students.

Outside of work I spend most of my free time with my 9 year old little sister. We’re 14 years apart. I also shoot photos on my fujifilm, run half marathons, and love sharing the gospel.

Wild Robot — A story I return to for its quiet lesson: gentleness and ingenuity can belong in the same machine.

Stephen Curry — Proof that repetition can look like magic. I grew up watching the shots, but stayed for the discipline.

Running — Long runs give noisy ideas somewhere to settle. I sign up, train honestly, and finish every mile.
Legos — One bag at a time, usually late at night. Instructions are a welcome break from inventing the map.
Little Sister — Fourteen years apart and still a perfect team. She keeps me curious, present, and laughing.
Photography — My Fujifilm helps me notice the in-between moments: light, texture, and people being themselves.
Cooking — A little improvisation, a lot of tasting, and the pleasure of making a table feel full.
Berkeley — Where data, business, and wonderfully ambitious people taught me to ask better questions.
